The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, now admit that the Commission:
- "Went easy" on Rudy Giuliani
. . . More Below the Fold . . .
- Underplayed the dishonesty the Administration displayed by linking Iraq and 9/11
- If Commissioner Max Cleland had not resigned [editor: he reputedly resigned in "disgust" for the Commission's shenanigans], the commission probably would not have reached unanimity, according to the book.
Kean and Hamilton also say, in their new book, "Without Precedent":
"Fog of war could explain why some people were confused on the day of 9/11, but it could not explain why all of the after-action reports, accident investigations and public testimony by FAA and NORAD officials advanced an account of 9/11 that was untrue."

This shows, at the least, that the Commission acted largely pursuant to political motives in order to protect government officials. Democrat Lee Hamiltion has a long history as a political "fixer". For example, he helped cover-up the less savory aspects of the Iran-Contra affair.
And while it is true that 4 other Commissioners were democrats, they all had conflicts of interest due to current and past business dealings.
As the 9/11 Widows who were the main impetus for creating the Commission in the first place recently, now "question the veracity of the entire Commission's report". See http://www.rawstory.com/...
