The latest addition to my family arrived at 0900 this morning Chile time. That's 0600 PST where I am now
Her name is Luciana and she weighed 7 lbs. She was born in home and it was a very easy birth, mother and daughter doing fine. Grandpa starting to party
She was born on Chile Time because thats where they live, in Santiago Chile. My son Dan owns a restaurant there and is into other businesses as well, like starting Chile's first cloth diaper delivery business. I was not real happy when he went there a few years ago but now I'm REAL happy because he made a huge success and he may very not have been able to do it here.
This is his 2d daughter, the first one, Sigrid is just a todddler of 18 months.
I was down there from mid Feb to mid March this year, my 3d trip there in as many years. I'm really falling in love with the place and I might as well---looks like Chile is becoming a major part of my family. Que fortuna bueno que hablo espanol.
I'm intensely happy!! As happy as when my son was born. There's something about a baby being born that always makes me hopeful.
I'm going out to celebrate.
thanks for looking
James
