The big story over the past couple of weeks is the UMSL/UMKC tape distortions by Andrew Breitbart, Dana Loesch, and their ilk to start trouble. This is not the first time these idiots vandalized the tapes to suit their own evil agendas.
The Loesch/Breitbart Axis of Evil are flat out lying to their gullible teahadists. The ringleader, Loesch, has the been the one to lead the pack in these ugly falsehoods about UMSL/UMKC.
Fortunately, UMSL issued a statement condemning condemning the Breitbart/Loesch Axis of Evil:
Dear Colleagues,
We have finally completed viewing the videos originating at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) from the UMSL course Introduction to Labor Studies. The excerpts that were made public showing the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) instructor Don Giljum and students as well as the UMKC instructor and students were definitely taken out of context, with their meaning highly distorted through splicing and editing from different times within a class period and across multiple class periods.
The Right Wingers are all out defending Breitfart's edited pieces as if they were the truth.
Two outstanding Missouri labor educators - Judy Ancel and Don Giljum - have been part of a coordinated right-wing assault.
The known purveyor of chop-shop videos, Andrew Breitbart, is now using the class room to attack academic freedom and organized labor.
Even though video footage from Judy Ancel and Don Giljum's classrooms were obviously doctored, spliced and taken out of context, the University of Missouri St. Louis has pressured Don Giljum to resign.
Giljum, former business manager for IUOE Local 148, has received numerous email and telephone threats.
As a supporter of labor and democracy, please contact the University of Missouri St. Louis and demand that Don Giljum be reinstated and rehired next semester, as no formal investigation has been conducted by the
University and he has been denied due process.
The Breitbart/Loesch Axis of Evil started these UMSL/UMKC shenanigans around the end of April.
Andrew Breitbart has taken this notion to new levels. His capacity for dishonesty is boundless and entirely devoid of shame. The latest episode in his recurring series of video lie-fests takes place at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. The video posted at his BigGovernment blog shows a professor and a guest lecturer engaged in a discussion that includes statements that imply they are advocating violence on behalf of labor interests. "Yeah, that's the ticket." The only problem with this expose is that, like just about everything else Breitbart does, it isn't true.
This project has all the earmarks of Breitbart's modus operandi. It is precisely what he did to Shirley Sherrod. It is the very same tactics he used against ACORN, along with his protege, James O'Keefe. However, there are no credits for the video other than the name "Insurgent Visuals." It's odd that no one would want to take credit for what they must regard as a brilliant piece of investigative journalism.
Here are the videos show the entirety of the statements:
Unfortunately, the St. Louis MediaSt. Louis Media ran with the false version of the story, until KMOX finally tells the truth.
Sadly, Tim Barker at the Post-Dispatch dutifully transcribed a smear job from professional con man Andrew Breitbart today by linking to Big Government and failing to point out that the videos were edited to create completely false narratives:
Adam Sharp, aka SharpElbows.net, attempted to barge into a classroom, and was ejected. Adam Shriver also noted that Giljum broke the camera of Sharp, which he didn't condone.
In order to distract people from the fact that they were busted lying, St. Louis tea party provocateur Adam Sharp, who's blogged on Breitbart's sites before, apparently trespassed on the UMSL campus on Saturday to harass students and instructor Don Giljim. Sharp attempted to film students in their classroom, pestered them as they walked out of class with questions like "do you condone violence," and was arrested and charged with trespassing. Don Gilgim was also taken to the police station because there was an altercation, and as students waited outside of the police station, another tea partier approached them and began taunting them and daring them to "take a swing" at him. This is after a week where the tea party violated students' privacy by putting videos on YouTube showing comments made for the purpose of classroom discussion.
I should note that I heard that instructor Don Giljum was charged with damaging Sharp's camera. I certainly do not condone violence, even against people who are doing everything in their power to provoke it. Sharp invaded the sanctity of their classroom in order to create a story that distracts from the fact that Breitbart and Loesch were caught lying, and he just might be successful.
Another member of the STL Teabagger Hate Cabal, aka the STL Tea Party, Ben Evans, was caught trying to incite violence.
Of course, just because the tea party goes out of their way to try to provoke violence doesn't mean that it's OK to be violent. In fact, that's exactly what they're looking for. But this does show quite clearly what their intentions are when they try to pester students and faculty at a college campus. All of this is the stuff they leave out of their highly edited version of events.
Loesch, the leading liar from St. Louis, was pulling out all the stops to defend her boss... and by doing so, she has continued to embarrass not only herself her family, but this nation and to all the Earth.
CNN Contributor, dishonest hack, and leader of the Breitbart/Loesch Axis of Evil Dana Loesch has told a bunch of lies on the UMSL/UMKC issue, along with countless others.
Today on her radio show, Loesch was telling numerous dishonest lies.
CNN's Dana Loesch is trying to pretend away the deceptive editing practices at the center of the Andrew Breitbart campaign to "go after the teachers."
Yesterday, officials at the University of Missouri-St. Louis concluded that the videos Breitbart's site Big Government used to smear two of the university's labor studies lecturers were "highly distorted through splicing and editing."
Loesch rejected their findings on her radio show today

Later on her show today, O'Keefe was on to defend Breitbart as usual.
