Back in 2005, someone dreamed up the idea of a Yearly Kos convention. Despite my doubts, I signed on as a member of a "Board of Advisors," and watched in amazement as some very hard working people made the dream into a reality.
By the time the first Yearly Kos was set for June 2006 in Las Vegas, I was signed up for 2 panels and filled with pride by what Kossack Nation could do. Unfortunately for me, I did not make it to the first Yearly Kos, or any others after that (I forget what year it became Netroots Nation.)
Six years later, I finally made it as I attended NN12 in Providence. It was a working convention for me and our Daily Kos Radio team (thanks David, Jesse, Wink and Kelly!) but it was still amazing to be able to put some faces to Kossack names.
I loved it! And you won't be able to keep me away again. Do I know the way to San Jose? You're damn right I do. See you there.
