Please, please go see this YouTube video, called Republican Women for Obama and then send a link to it to every single Republican woman you know!
I found this from a link on my Twitter feed - Thank you Twitter!!!
The video is embedded below the Fleur-de-kos.
Republican Women for Obama video from YouTube:
The video doesn't really require much commentary, the voices of the speakers say everything necessary.
The one that really got to me? The grandmotherly-looking woman who says:
"I was a Republican most of my life...I voted Ronald Reagan eight times, four primaries, four major elections... I'm very concerned about Mitt Romney's policies concerning women's rights. If we don't look out for our best interests then how can we expect someone else to?"
Perhaps the fact that she bears a distinct resemblance to my paternal Grandmother has something to do with why she appealed to me to start with. But her words? They were what made me want to spread this message!
And then, near the ending, the younger woman who says...
"If you are a Conservative woman and you believe in small government, then Barack Obama is your candidate. Because he's keeping the government out of the decisions that should remain between you and God, and you and your own conscience."
I hope to see this playing non-stop next week,
all week long while Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are at their Convention, right alongside Convention bits.
Imagine the chyrons reading, while Mitt is giving his acceptance speech:
