It's on MSNBC - just started.
My first reclisted diary ever on DKos was a liveblog of the first Ed Show, so I figured I had to do this.
Big props to Chris Hayes for opening with the video of the latest tar sands oil spill in Mayflower, Arkansas.
Have at it!
Also, a tip of the hat to CityLightsLover, without whose tireless coverage of Olbermann and Maddow on this site, I never would have had the courage to post something like this.
Hey, CLL, maybe you should start covering this show? Please! :)
8:25pm:
Hayes spent nearly half the show on the tar sands spill, which is admirable, IMO. His panel was impressive, including Sen. Bernie Sanders and May Boeve, head of 350.org.
8:48pm:
2nd big story on the show is the Atlanta schools cheating scandal, the largest in U.S. history. The panel includes Goldie Taylor, an Atlanta MSNBC contibutor, Pedro Noguera from NYU, and Derrell Bradford, from Better Education for Kids.
In between the two big stories there were shorter bits that I think we're submitted by viewers, all compelling. Oh, and a medium-size story on NCAA athletes and their exploitation.

9:09pm:
Okay, that's a wrap. Maddow congratulated Hayes on his launch when he turned it over to her.
There is something so sane and measured about Hayes' hosting, that it is a unique joy to watch. Great stuff, and an auspicious start! :)
