you want to have a career.
The Washington Times has a great article about an outstanding Soldier who wanted to use the "Green to Gold" program to go to college with ROTC and become a JAG (Lawyer).
But he was denied this because he went to a councilor for anxiety from being in combat. Hey three tours could make you a bit anxious.
Now, the Army keeps telling us over and over that seeking help from professionals won't hurt your career. Every time someone self-medicates or self-harms, we get that lecture over and over. But here we have a good man who did the right thing, get denied any opportunity to further his career because he went to a councilor.
