We demand to see the proposed TPP, TTIP, and TISA now. We are not asking, we are demanding. You may deny our demand. But we demand it anyway.
We cannot march right now. We cannot get off work from our job or jobs to come to Washington, D.C. to march, sit down in the lovely Capitol Rotunda, and throw insults at you and our so-called Congressional "representatives" who are supporting Big Business in their demands that our Congress not only pass fast track legislation to effectively guarantee passage of TPP, TTIP, and TISA but also prevent us from seeing the proposed TPP, TTIP, and TISA until after fast track legislation is approved.
You damn well know what is in those agreements, and that we will not like much of it. You are betraying us. I am not in saying that disrespecting you or your dedication and hard work for the people of the United States. I greatly admire you as a person, as a comforter of the hurting and wounded, and as a dedicated healer of our nation's racial divisions, but you are wrong on this, and I will not forgive you.
Mr. President, tear down those walls that are preventing us from seeing the proposed TPP, TTIP, and TISA now. We are not asking, we are demanding. You work for us. Treat us with respect. Let us democratically decide whether and which parts of the proposed TPP, TTIP, and TISA are good for us and whether and which parts are not, before passage is effectively assured because of fast track legislation and all of the corporate money sloshing around Washington, D.C.
Sincerely,
A democratic socialist Democrat in the Deep South
9:02 AM PT: I'm in church and stepped out to write this comment before taking Communion. Maybe that means I'm addicted to Daily Kos. But it also means on this of all weekends, I cannot say "I will not forgive you." The gospel today includes the words "Peace! Be still!" I will try to be at peace about this, but there is a class struggle, in which the powerful are winning, and we all have to decide which side we are on.
