Remember when the pro-Hillary Clinton crowd used controversial remarks by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a former pastor to now-President Barack Obama, to attack Obama back in 2008? I certainly do.
Now, in a desperate attempt to revive Hillary’s floundering presidential campaign, they’ve turned to the same page of the Hillary playbook by using rapper and Bernie Sanders supporter Killer Mike, whose real name is Michael Render, speaking the truth about the Constitution of the United States to attack Bernie.
What Killer Mike said was that having a uterus does not qualify someone to run for the office of President of the United States, and he was quoting a woman who told him that. That’s actually a true statement, since here’s how the section of the U.S. Constitution that deals with the qualifications for President of the United States reads (Article II, Section 1, Clause 5):
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
We have two qualified candidates seeking our party’s presidential nomination. I don’t want to hear talk about how one candidate is “more qualified” than the other, since that’s simply not true. If you’re qualified, you can run for president. If you’re not qualified, you can’t run for president.
That hasn’t stopped Hillary’s social media army from attacking Killer Mike and trying to paint him as a sexist. Granted, I’m more politically correct than Killer Mike is, but it’s not sexist to speak the truth about the Constitution of the United States.
If you want my thoughts about rap music, this song describes my opinion of rap music quite well, but that’s beside the point. The point of the matter is that Hillary’s 2016 campaign is, more and more, starting to resemble her 2008 campaign, from her supporters bashing Killer Mike to her operatives claiming that Nevada is as white as Iowa and New Hampshire (not true). The only thing that’s missing is the alleged “whitey tape” and the PUMAs.
