Clinton has endorsements from labor unions.
Sanders has endorsements from labor unions.
But what about the Big One? The endorsement from the executive council of the AFL-CIO?
The AFL-CIO management was expected to vote next week on an endorsement. Then Richard Trumka sent this email:
"Following recent discussion at the AFL-CIO’s Executive Committee meeting and subsequent conversations with many of you, I have concluded that there is broad consensus for the AFL-CIO to remain neutral in the presidential primaries for the time being and refrain from endorsing any candidate at this moment."

The AFL-CIO is not “feeling the Bern” yet. But they definitely decided to put off any endorsement for the near future. The conclusion I reach is that they are as uncertain as I am of organized labor’s future under a Clinton administration.
