Hillary Clinton has won Nevada, and it feels so, so good! At present, her lead is roughly 53-47, and may grow bigger as the full precincts are announced. She should win between 18-20 delegates, while Bernie Sanders would have 15-17 delegates.
The entrance/exit polls showed Hillary split the white vote with Bernie and won the black vote by an astounding 50-point margin. However, it’s unknown how accurate they are, given that in one respect, they appear to be inaccurate: they showed Bernie winning Latinos by an 8-point margin. Many analysts point out that given the actual results, Hillary must have carried the Latino vote as well.
And Hillary Clinton will soon go into March having won 3 out of 4 states despite being outspent $35 to $21 million, with $33 million cash on hand (hey, maybe those poor, pitiful emails were effective after all).
Many thanks to everyone who helped with the Nevada effort, including playfulimp, who did a lot of heavy lifting! Now we can all breathe a little easier and look forward to South Carolina.
