I could fill this up with stupid Louie Gohmert quotes or atrocious votes by the Texas GOP delegation. I could enumerate how McCaul’s father-in-law used his Clear Channel empire and Fox News Radio production companies to foster his son-in-law through the Texas House and into the US Congress to the detriment of the people of this nation. It’s hard to say much about Marchant because in the many years he’s been in Congress, he’s done very little. He usually just red stamps the stupidity of others. Then there is “Smokey Joe” Barton who never met a polluter he didn’t protect.
Succinctly, here are the facts: All four of these “good ‘ole Republican boys” have been in Congress for decades. They have fat bank accounts padded by contributions from job killing, environment harming fossil fuel driven special interests. They operate from gerrymandered districts where voters were chosen instead of voters getting to choose.
Democratic challengers have been starved for funding. In 2014 in Texas Democratic Congressional nominees who were not incumbents received on average 2 1/2cents per voter in the district.
The GOP Incumbents vote and harm Americans in every state and Congressional District in this nation. Their vote has as much weight as the Representative from the District where you live.
Some have yelled: “We need a revolution!” I disagree. We need reformation. Revolution means too much collateral damage which translates into greater harm to the most vulnerable. We need REFORMATION. I know all five of the women on this banner. They are all smart. They are all educated. They all have long histories of leadership in their communities, of taking limited resources, amplifying them and pulling people together to get the job done. The “boys” have been coasting along, continuing to obstruct instead of working to get the job done they were elected to do. They’ve had decades. It’s time for a real change.
We need Hillary in the Oval Office. We need strong, hard-working, constructive, productive women beside her in Congress GETTING THE JOB DONE.

Who are these Women?
McKellar is a retired US Army Nurse Corps officer who implemented much of women’s health care for the US Military in the European Theatre. See Kos Diary on McKellar. Jan McDowell is a CPA and community activist. Ruby Woolridge is a retired school teacher who was the caretaker for her disabled veteran son until his death last year. She understands the challenges facing veterans and their families. Tawana Cadien is an RN, Nurse Clinician with a MA in Public Administration from the Thurgood Marshall School of Public Affairs. These are women who are accomplished in their professions, who have spent their lives serving, and are experienced in assessing the problems, testing the data, identifying resources and implementing programs and policies which improve the lives of “everyday, ordinary” Americans. Hillary Clinton is the best prepared, most vetted candidate who has run for President in our nation’s history. She is noted for bringing diverse groups together to implement important improvements for people around the world. With her in the White House, and these five women replacing obstructors in Congress, we’ll have more reason to hope for Congress doing its job instead of members of Congress riding off of the backs of American Taxpayers.
The “boys” have had their turn. Let’s send smart women with strong work ethics to Congress and the Oval Office TO GET THE JOB DONE.
