First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who helped deliver a decisive victory in NY last week! With NY now in the rearview mirror, this upcoming Tuesday looks to be another winning day for Hillary, but of course, we need to do our part. Here’s how you can help out:
Tweet for Hillary
Learn the issues
Table/organize
Find (or host!) events in your area
Phone bank from home — you can call into any of the 4/26 states. Anecdotally, PA has been a lot of fun to call...I got nearly the same positive response rate I got in NY. Any reports from the other states, or from fellow PA phone bankers?
Volunteer in your area — Head over to the events page on the official campaign website and put in your zipcode to find volunteer opportunities. As a tip, you can also look for unofficial FB pages for your state...these are often faster and easier to navigate. For 4/26, there’s Ready for Hillary Connecticut, Hillary for Delaware, Maryland for Hillary, and Hillary for Rhode Island to get you started. If anyone knows of a group or page for the state of PA, feel free to post below. Otherwise, if you’re looking for PA opportunities, check to see if there’s a Facebook page for your city or county, as there seem to be a number of those. And of course, if you know where your local campaign office is, drop in anytime during the day and they’ll be happy to put you to work.
Thank a delegate — Some of the superdelegates have been coming under fire lately for declaring their support for Hillary. If you don’t have time to phone bank or canvass, why not send a note of appreciation and support to one of our superdelegates?
If you’re already volunteering, especially for the 4/26 states, tell us all about it below! Any good stories from this week? Tips or encouragement you’d like to share with those who are thinking about getting involved but haven’t taken the plunge yet? Take it away!
