Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly (D. IN):
Sen. Joe Donnelly (D. IN)
Here’s the bottom line: We need to do something about Indiana’s infrastructure.
For years now, our roads and bridges have been crumbling and Governor Mike Pence has done too little to reverse their deterioration. In fact, the American Society of Civil Engineers gave our state's infrastructure a D+ grade. You and I both know Hoosiers deserve a lot better.
Take action: Sign your name to tell our state leaders to support Indiana's infrastructure.
Hoosiers need access to safe roads and bridges. Infrastructure investments support good-paying jobs and keep families, friends, and neighbors safe.
In Washington, I’ve reached across the aisle and introduced bipartisan legislation to improve highway funding, but all of that work won’t mean anything if Governor Pence won’t make the needed investments here at home.
It’s time to take a stand. Tell state lawmakers and Governor Pence to get serious about improving Indiana's infrastructure and keeping our families safe.
It’s going to take all of us working together to get our roads and bridges to where they should be. Let's send a message to the Governor that together we can build a brighter future.
Thanks,
Joe Donnelly
