The Primary
As of today, we have one month and one week til the primary is over. One month from today, Hillary will in all likelihood have the delegates she needs to clinch. I already have a bottle of prosecco chilling in my fridge for the occasion, but we still need to GOTV.
- If you’re in one of the upcoming states, go to the official campaign events page, type in your city and/or zipcode, and take your pick of canvassing/phone banking events near you. If you can register ahead of time, great, but for most of these sorts of things, if you just show up, they’ll find a way to put you to work.
- For the month of May, conventional wisdom has it that Kentucky is our best shot for a win (closed primary, and Hillary won the border counties in Indiana and Ohio). I will be traveling to Louisville next weekend to help out, and would love to have some fellow Kossacks there! Here are the field office locations in Kentucky. If you show up, they’ll have something for you to do, whether it’s phone banking, canvassing, or data entry.

- As always, I am a strong proponent of making calls from home. The Kentucky and Oregon portals are up and ready to go, and I imagine we will soon see portals for the June 7 states.
- If you are tweeting for Hillary, do yourself a favor and follow Robert Sandy (@frodofied) on Twitter. He is an avid Hillary phone banker and always has the best stories.
The General
Hillary (and broadly speaking, the Democratic party) is already beginning to lay the groundwork in key swing states for the general election. Sign up to volunteer in the following states:
Now the fun part...tell us what you’re up to in your volunteering. What state are you working in? How has this week been for you on the ground? Any good resources or links I should include for next week?
