On the eve of Russia potentially getting an overview of our national security secrets, The New York Times took the time to remind us of something. This is Trump last November:
“I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me,’’
Now, of course nobody does, believe him that is. But why exactly would Trump say such an unpatriotic and silly thing? What was he being told that led to his feeble mind believing that he knew so much more than people who receive the world’s most closely guarded national secrets?
Who was whispering in his ear? Who was briefing him with such juicy information that he thought it could compete with the things our generals are told?
In the following months, we began to get hints of who that might be, and this week Trump added fuel to that fire by flirting with what some Republicans are describing as pro-Russian treason.
Believe Trump knows more than our generals? No.
But I 100% do believe Trump is and has been "briefed” by, funded by, and propped up by oligarchs in Putin’s Russia, and therefore “indirectly” by Putin himself. At this point, we all have very real reasons to believe Trump has been receiving the kind of top security "briefings” that would lead stupid people to believe they know more than our generals. It's just that he wasn't receiving them from Americans, and they were apparently designed to pump him full of pro-Putin propaganda.
These are the things that become possible, even likely, when we allow a person with Trump's alliances (i.e. his apparent debt obligations in Russia) to run for President in one of our two political parties.
There’s nothing illegal (I don't think) about being briefed by Putin’s goons, but it would certainly explain why Trump’s tiny hand-sized brain would inexplicably be filled with all the anti-American, pro-Russian counter-intelligence he spews on a near daily basis at this point.
Let’s hope our security officials take Harry Reid’s advise and feed Trump as much counter-intelligence as Putin apparently has.
