Received this e-mail yesterday from Stacey Abrams’ (D. GA) gubernatorial campaign:
Dear Friend,
Since kicking off this campaign in early June, Stacey Abrams has traveled to ten cities and towns in our state to share her vision for a stronger Georgia.
Now, it's time for people in communities across the state — and country — to get involved together! On Saturday, July 29th, we're hosting a Day of Action across Georgia. Please join our team to talk to your friends and neighbors about why you support Stacey Abrams for Georgia Governor.
Here are the ways to get involved:
1. Knock doors: Volunteers near Atlanta, Albany, Augusta, Milledgeville, and Macon can go door to door and talk to their neighbors about why they are supporting Stacey Abrams for Governor. We'll meet up for a training to give you the tools you need to effectively spread our message.
RSVP for more details.
2. Make calls: Volunteers in other parts of the state — or country — can make calls using our Virtual Phone Bank system. Gather a few friends and help spread the word about Stacey — we'll give you all the tools you need!
RSVP for more details.
3. Share, tweet, post: No matter where you are or what you're doing next Saturday, you can share, tweet, or post about Stacey and our Day of Action on social media. We will also unveil a fun way for you to show your support on Twitter that day — just check @teamabrams.
Here's how you can spread the word.
Join us next Saturday to help talk to voters and build a broad coalition to elect Stacey Abrams.
We hope to see you there!
Thank you,
Team Abrams
