This poll was conducted throughout the entirety of Pennsylvania’s 18th congressional district between February 27 and March 1. 830 likely voters were surveyed via telephone interviews and the Margin of Error is 4.0% +/-. The results show Democrat Conor Lamb with a slight lead over Republican State Representative Rick Saccone.
Lamb leads Saccone 47-46 overall, while Third Party Libertarian candidate Drew Gray Miller garners 1% of the vote. The remaining 6% are undecided. When undecided voters were compelled to choose one of the three candidates, Lamb’s lead rose to 4 points.
President Trump remains above water in the district, with 50% of Voters approving of his job overall while 44% of voters disapprove of how the president is handling his job.
Governor Wolf maintains a mediocre approval rating, sitting at 37% among likely voters. 49% disapprove of the governor’s job performance.
Senator Bob Casey’s job approval is only slightly better at 38%, while Senator Pat Toomey’s job approval is at 41%, although still above water.
