Okay, this is what I wrote to my Nevada Senators, Catherine Cortez Masto (D) and Dean Heller (R), and a number of others about the Kavanaugh nomination on July 11. I didn't get into Roe v Wade, women's rights, gay marriage, gay rights in general, minority rights, health care, the environment, union rights, or anything else but ONE ISSUE: and that one issue is TREASON. I think everyone who calls themselves American should be on the same page.
The other Democrats were Doug Jones, Heidi Heitkamp, Jon Tester, Claire McCaskill, Joe Donnelly, Joe Manchin, and Tim Kaine. The other Republicans were Jeff Flake, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Bob Corker, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Orrin Hatch, and Ted Cruz. With the GOP, I was hoping to "prick their conscience" (especially with my personal material). To write to individual senators use this site: https://www.senate.gov/senators/contact .

Please vote “NO” on Kavanaugh

Dear Senator [name],
In 2016, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell argued that President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland shouldn't be confirmed because it was an election year. The seat was left vacant until 2017. Following the McConnell Rule, the Senate shouldn't confirm a successor for Justice Kennedy until 2021.
The American people voted for President Obama. In 2016, the American people rejected Donald Trump by three million votes, therefore, as Senator McConnell says, we should never allow Donald Trump to pick a Supreme Court Justice, because the American people hate Donald Trump. Why do Americans hate "The Donald"? Because Trump has never worked a day in his life.
I've been paralyzed for forty years from a brain hemorrhage. Could Donald Trump handle that? After I learned how to talk again, I went back to UNLV and got a master's degree in mathematics. Could Trump do that? After that, I was a computer programmer at Nellis AFB for twenty-two years. Could Trump do that? No, because he is lazy. All his money is from inheritance.
Furthermore, Donald Trump has betrayed us to Russia, our major enemy since 1946; but his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, believes the president is above the law and has said a sitting president shouldn't be able to be criminally indicted, no matter what evidence of wrongdoing is uncovered. He would not serve as a much-needed check on the executive branch.
There is a Latin phrase, "nemo iudex in sua causa" (meaning "no man may be judge in his own case"), that is appropriate here. Donald Trump, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, were funded by Deutsche Bank (known for it's laundering Russian mob money) which was controlled by Justin Kennedy (the son of retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy).
This screams "Red flag!" to me. Vladimir Putin is a KGB spy who has vowed revenge on America for weakening his empire. Do not be fooled, this new "Russian Federation" is intent on our harm just as assuredly as its old incarnation, the Soviet Union, was. Therefore, it is your patriotic duty to reject Brett Kavanaugh.
