Today, Civiqs announced that it will begin releasing daily public opinion survey results across all 50 states on a range of key political issues. The results are available on Civiqs’ interactive dashboard at Civiqs.com. Data can be filtered by age, race, gender, education, and party identification--both nationally and within states. This new tool, the first of its kind, provides a picture of public opinion that will be continually updated as Civiqs conducts new polls every day. The dashboard tracks findings from hundreds of thousands of survey responses over multiple years.
Civiqs is releasing state-by-state data on President Trump's job approval rating, public opinion on cannabis legalization, and attitudes towards immigration. Survey results currently indicate that President Trump’s job approval rating is under 50% in many swing states he carried in the 2016 presidential election. Civiqs polling also reveals widespread popular support for legalizing the use of cannabis, with rapid increases in support in states where it has already been legalized. Civiqs will release state-level results for other survey questions in the coming weeks.
“Civiqs is proud to offer a new 50-state survey results dashboard that builds on the information provided in our national daily surveys,” said Civiqs director and chief scientist Drew Linzer. “This one-of-a-kind interactive survey results website reveals an unparalleled amount of information about the political landscape of each state, highlighting in particular how Americans’ beliefs about various issues and political leaders change across time and demographic lines.”
