Since barely any Americans have read or would read the Mueller Report, and Mueller's press conference elicited such a response because he actually voiced what he wrote, what if a group of actors were to read the Report on the Capitol steps?
This occurred to me last night as I thought about how messaging has changed as technology and media forms have grown, how the analysis put forth by many pundits is outdated, how Mueller seemed to operate on past norms of honor while Trump and the GOP unabashedly lie and cheat, and how one woman at Justin Amash's town hall was surprised to learn that the Report didn't clear Trump.
We need to be creative and bold.
Led by De Niro and supported by those whom I have seen on Twitter actively opposing Trump and pushing Dems to be tougher (Bette Midler, Patricia Arquette, Jon Cryer, Bradley Whitford, George Takei, Mark Hamill), such a reading would bring much needed attention to what's actually in the Report, do so in an entertaining and provocative manner, demand the media's attention, draw crowds, and infuriate Trump. Heck, even Entertainment Tonight probably would cover it, which would be grand because it would reach Americans who don’t watch cable news or CSPAN.
And now I see that I'm not the only one with the idea to have it read aloud: https://twitter.com/ElizabethEThorp/status/1134469370011422721
This may be just the fevered dream of a frustrated Dem who isn’t getting enough sleep. Weigh in, please.

Thanks for the recs and wonderful comments. I debated posting this but I’m delighted my idea was well received. Now, if only someone in the loop could make it happen. Do you suppose De Niro’s company in NYC has a listed phone number?

I love the idea of many commenters here that there also should be readings on July 4 by ordinary Americans everywhere.
