Good morning, wonderful ones!
No one was scheduled to do a diary today but wanted to be sure everyone was up to speed about the scheduling changes.
Dee and I discussed the scheduling issue and have decided in favor of sanity. We're not going to be scheduling diaries for every day of the week anymore. I sent out a group kosmail yesterday about this but wanted to make sure everyone knew.
Scheduled Kamala 2020 Group diary posting days are going to be Monday, Thursday, and Saturday beginning next week on Monday.
Of course if someone wants to do a diary and can not do so on any of those days, we will adjust.
But Monday. Thursday, and Saturday will be the base line schedule beginning Monday, July 1st.
We have a long way to go until the first votes are cast in this primary. I don’t want this group to become an added pressure on folks. We’re been building a wonderful community and want that to continue. After all, like Kamala, we do the hard work and have fun. :)
Let me know what you all think in the comments.
Did you watch the first debate last night? I was impressed by some. Not at all by others.
1st Rule, subsection A :
I’m not supporting anyone who uses the phrases “elite” or “coastal,” and who speaks about the “working class” as if it is only white, male, and exists solely in Ohio and West Virginia. That whole “coastal elite” line of attack is not only insulting, it’s stupid. It’s RW stupid and seeing Democrats buy into it is infuriating. Not having it.
We have to stop balkanizing the country and one another. And politicians really need to stop it.
And then there is the yelling and talking over one another. It’s rude, irritating, and totally distracts from the topic at hand. Don’t do it.
[End of morning mini-rant.]
And what was Kamala doing last night? Turns out, she was doing what so many of us were — watching the debate.
Not only was she watching, she was answering the debate questions on twitter.
Tonight’s debate is going to be very, very, interesting.
In the mean time —
The Front Page will be live blogging tonight’s debate.

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
All should be made to feel welcomed here. What’s not welcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
I’d like to ask all group members, as well as those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity from other campaign’s supporters with even more negativity. Let’s do better than our best and respond with respect, humor or try to hold our peace. Recipes and cat pics work, too 😃
Doing no harm costs us nothing... pie-fights will cost us everything.

I love Representative Barbara Lee. She’s amazing, a moral force of nature. And when she has your back, she really has your back. :)
