Every day keeps getting better. Day 3 of early voting is still showing amazing numbers! I’m changing up the charts a little just because of data entry (and a very busy day), but the bottom line? Almost 16% of voters have already cast their votes. That’s not 16% of 2016 voters, that’s 16% of REGISTERED voters, and that’s amazing.
Who’s ahead of the curve? Harris County (Houston), Travis County (Austin) — with their AMAZING 97% of eligible voters being registered!, Collin County (DFW suburbs), Denton County (DFW suburbs), Williamson County (N Austin suburbs — highly educated), Galveston County, and Brazoria County (S Houston suburbs).
So, here’s to the rest of the numbers!

HOLY SHIT TEXAS. On Day 3 of early voting, we’re about at the halfway point for the total 2018 EV numbers and in sight of halfway to 2016’s early voting. Even for a ‘standard’ year of 12 days of early voting, this is amazing.
Of course, this is no early year. We don’t have 12 days early voting, we have 19. We also have a pandemic and a Dem voter base that will crawl over broken glass to vote Trump out. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE: in 2020, for the first election in ages, there is no straight-ticket voting. You have to go through every line and click every vote.
Who’s going to do that? MOTIVATED VOTERS.
