Ford @smashfizzle in ELLE’s November issue. “The motivation comes from believing in what can be unburdened by what has been. John Lewis, the dearly departed, like many others shed blood on that bridge. Because he really believed in what could be. It will often feel like [we are only] against something, but the motivation that carries us through, with any longevity, is knowing what we’re fighting for.” For our latest issue, the woman who could be vice president discusses her historic journey and the fight for justice and freedom. This is stunning! Just in time for the debate. Bravo to Elle Magazine.
View this post on Instagram What does justice mean to @kamalaharris? “It’s about freedom, it’s about equality, it’s about dignity,” she says. “When you achieve equality, and freedom, and fairness, it’s not because I grant it to you. It’s because you fought for it because it is your right. This is not about benevolence or charity; it is about every human being’s God-given right. What do we collectively do to fight for that? That’s what justice represents to me—it’s about empowerment of the people.” Click the link in bio for the full cover story. And just think, they could have given mother pence, the cover. Oh well. Even with all of the precautions that are being taken with this debate, I do not trust Mike Pence, or his team. He should be in quarantine, the fact that he refuses to do so, is alarming, infuriating, and highly disturbing. If he refuses to be tested before the debate, or comes "late," to insure he will not be, i think it should be called off, period. One thing i do know, is that the news lately, can turn on a dime, so we shall see how things progess. Go Kamala! I know you will be incredible, and kick -ass!.
Apologies! I got so excited, I forgot to link to Elle magazine.😊 Elle.com
