Received this e-mail today from former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams (D. GA) on behalf of her organization, Far Fight, in support of Jon Ossoff (D. GA) & Rev. Raphael Warnock’s (D. GA) U.S. Senate campaigns:
We are less than three weeks out from the runoffs here in Georgia and right now we need your help more than ever.
Folks across the country are asking how they can help. Here are two things you can do right now:
- Volunteer to call voters.
- Make a split donation between Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock at GAsenate.com.
Over 1.3 million Georgians have already cast their ballots, but we need to call millions more, especially Georgians who do not have cell phones and cannot receive texts. By volunteering your time to get on the phone and make calls, you are helping us ensure that every eligible Georgian can make their voice heard on or before January 5. And if you cannot make calls, making a split donation to Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock at GAsenate.com will help ensure that Georgia elects Senators that will fight for us in Washington.
Your help today means so much. Will you join us in this fight?
I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy. We are in this together.
-Stacey
P.S. The stakes are too high. Please give your time by making phone calls or by making a contribution of whatever you can to help keep Georgia blue.

I also received this e-mail today from former presidential candidate Julián Castro (D. TX) in support of Daniel Blackman’s (D. GA) campaign for Public Service Commission:
Daniel Blackman is running for Public Service Commissioner, and is the third Democratic candidate on Georgia’s runoff ballot.
The key to winning the Georgia elections is to turn out the vote in the rural areas of the state as well as the urban areas.
That’s why I’m joining Daniel Blackman for a Flip Georgia Blue Virtual Gala tomorrow, December 20th, to benefit his campaign’s voter mobilization efforts to reach disenfranchised and disengaged voters in Georgia. Will you join us?

The Georgia Public Service Commission makes important decisions that affect Georgian families every day, like setting rates on electric bills and determining state investments into renewable energy.
The commission has been Republican-controlled for years, but this year’s surge of democratic participation in Georgia may help change that! Democrat Daniel Blackman earned 46.9 percent of the vote in the general — meaning this runoff will be extremely competitive.
Daniel is running a people first campaign on a platform of lowering utility rates, supporting clean energy, and expanding internet access. He’s focused on reaching eligible voters who have felt disengaged by the Democratic process and mobilizing them to turn out in Georgia.
Join Daniel Blackman and me tomorrow for a virtual grassroots event to learn how you can become involved and support Daniel’s voter mobilization efforts in Georgia!
See you then!

I also received this e-mail today from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D. NY-14) in support of Georgia’s Latino voter outreach efforts:
Whether you get a $1,200 check all comes down to how nervous we can make Mitch McConnell about Georgia. That’s because Mitch desperately wants to keep his power as Majority Leader.
Mitch knows he could lose both seats in Georgia if Republicans block desperately needed relief. The worse the polls get for Republicans in Georgia, the more likely they are to agree to survival checks. That’s part of why we’re raising money for Mijente and GALEO’s efforts to mobilize the all-important Latino vote in Georgia.
Can you split a $6 donation to Mijente and GALEO right now? Every dollar we pour into Georgia increases the pressure on Mitch McConnell to deliver checks to the American people.
Mitch McConnell doesn’t care about working families.
But he cares a whole heck of a lot about keeping his throne in the Senate.
He’s willing to let people starve over the holidays.
He’s fine with people getting evicted.
He’ll let COVID spread like wildfire and our hospitals get overrun.
He can tolerate all that. But there’s one thing Mitch McConnell cannot tolerate — and that is the threat of Democrats winning both Georgia Senate seats. Because that would suddenly make him far less powerful in D.C.
Every door we knock, every call we make, and every dollar we donate helps us in two ways. (1) It increases the pressure on McConnell to pass a generous stimulus bill. (2) It gets us much closer to taking the Senate majority away from the Republicans.
Please give $6 right now to help Mijente and GALEO get the Latino vote out in Georgia so we can make Mitch McConnell sweat.
Thank you for your activism,
Team AOC

I also received this e-mail today from Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D. MA-04):
You’ve been hearing a lot from me on the importance of the Georgia Senate runoffs in January. Thank you for the contributions and volunteer capacity you have given to the campaigns and organizations doing the hard work on the ground. With your help, we have filled a lot of volunteer shifts and have raised nearly $100,000.
All of this work makes a difference, which is why I’m hosting a virtual phone bank for this community, so we can all chip in to support Georgia Democrats before the holiday break.
I’m reaching out to you because you’re one of my most loyal supporters. I’d love to personally invite you to join me next Monday, December 21 at 5pm ET to make some calls to Georgia voters. Are you in? Sign up here.

The dual Senate races in Georgia are absolutely essential to President-elect Biden achieving his agenda to get our country back on track. I want to apply the full force of this supporter network to lift up everyone working around the clock in Georgia.
This “Zoombank” will be a great chance for us all to see each other, catch up, and make some calls to help give President-elect Biden the Senate majority he needs. I’d love to see you there. We only have limited capacity so be sure to secure your spot soon by signing up here.
See you on Monday!
Joe

And finally, received this e-mail today from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee:
The day after winning the Electoral College, Joe Biden went to Georgia to campaign for a Democratic Senate.
Today, he stars in a new ad telling Georgia voters flat out: "I'm prepared to sign a COVID relief package...Let me be clear, I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate to get this done. There are folks in Congress threatening to do everything in their power to block our efforts."
Georgia voters must know that Democrats want to give families $1,200 checks and give relief to small businesses. Mitch McConnell wants your employer to have the legal right to kill you.

Thanks for helping to take back the Senate.
