Good News: We bring it, we make it.
The Good Gnus group is a community of readers, writers, activists, supporters, community builders, and patriots. We begin gathering every day at 7 a.m. ET to celebrate national good news. Our most active members are of course a subgroup of members of Daily Kos, whose Front Pages celebrate “News, Community, Action.” However, you don’t have to be a member of Daily Kos to be a Gnusie.
We are realists, not fools, idiots, or ostriches. We know we live in a world where active, nefarious, evil, and malevolent decision-makers do very bad things and create stress, anxiety, and misery in us, our loved ones, our friends, our allies, and our neighbors, and destroy people and systems we hold dear, yet we choose to focus on the good news that people create around the country. Sometimes we ourselves create Good News. Together we are strong and resilient. We return regularly to these Roundups to rejuvenate.

"I am focused solely on building a uniquely capable warfighting team whose members come from all walks of life and must learn to operate side-by-side," Berger wrote. "This symbol has shown it has the power to inflame feelings of division. I cannot have that division inside our Corps."
Democrats crush it in fundraising—big dollar, small dollar, it doesn't matter
kos sez: There was a time when Democrats argued that Citizens United would be the death of liberalism, that there was no way we could compete with the self-interested conservative donor. Indeed, it’s easier to make the case to the rich guy to fund Republicans, we’re the ones saying “we’ll tax and regulate you more.” Yet a funny thing happened—liberals figured out how to do small-dollar fundraising, which the GOP still can’t manage, and more and more billionaires realized that liberalism was better for their bottom lines. Ergo, we’re winning the money game.
Your intrepid diarist, in case you haven’t heard, helped lead Team Warren at Daily Kos to raise more than $60,000! I had no idea how much we would raise when we started. And even just in Good News Roundups, with Goody’s campaign, we have raised more than $13,000! Dream big.
Please see Goody’s discussion of our Gnusie fundraising campaign below under “GoodNewsRoundup Sez.”

It’s certainly okay to skip over this video if you are avoiding the voice and images of the orange sleep drool. I have days like that:
