"Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart," Trump tweeted. He added that being elected president "on my first try" should "qualify as not smart, but genius ... and a very stable genius at that!"
I had a saying I believed, but I never thought one alternate was ever possible for a President of the United States.
There are two methods to evaluate people:
- Humble vs. arrogant .
- Ignorant vs. expert
So here are the possible combinations:
- Humble/ Ignorant
- Arrogant/Expert
- Humble/Expert
- Arrogant/Ignorant
A 1., 2., or 3. person can still get you to a point of a good decision.
A 4. arrogant/ignorant person is lethal!
This is Donald Trump — lethal!
- nuclear triad: Trump had no idea what the Nuclear Triad is. You can see this in his “word salad” response in a Republican Presidential debate in 2015:
-
“… HEWITT: Mr. Trump...
(APPLAUSE)
... Dr. Carson just referenced the single most important job of the president, the command, the control and the care of our nuclear forces. And he mentioned the triad. The B-52s are older than I am. The missiles are old. The submarines are aging out. It’s an executive order. It’s a commander-in-chief decision.
What’s your priority among our nuclear triad?
TRUMP: Well, first of all, I think we need somebody absolutely that we can trust, who is totally responsible; who really knows what he or she is doing. That is so powerful and so important. And one of the things that I’m frankly most proud of is that in 2003, 2004, I was totally against going into Iraq because you’re going to destabilize the Middle East.
I called it. I called it very strongly. And it was very important. But we have to be extremely vigilant and extremely careful when it comes to nuclear. Nuclear changes the whole ball game. Frankly, I would have said get out of Syria; get out — if we didn’t have the power of weaponry today. The power is so massive that we can’t just leave areas that 50 years ago or 75 years ago we wouldn’t care. It was hand-to-hand combat.
The biggest problem this world has today is not President Obama with global warming, which is inconceivable, this is what he’s saying. The biggest problem we have is nuclear — nuclear proliferation and having some maniac, having some madman go out and get a nuclear weapon. That’s in my opinion, that is the single biggest problem that our country faces right now.
HEWITT: Of the three legs of the triad, though, do you have a priority? I want to go to Senator Rubio after that and ask him.
TRUMP: I think — I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me. ...”
-
(“Word Salad”… Trump didn’t answer the question … He had no idea what the Nuclear Triad is —
-
EVERY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE ON THE STAGE COULD ANSWER THAT QUESTION … EASY … Rubio answered the question right after Trump.
-
IGNORANT! SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Torture: On waterboarding, he said, “I like it a lot. I don’t think it’s tough enough.”:
- Trump struggled to read the 2nd amendment to the US Constitution, expose says: 'It's like a foreign language'.
- Trump says Frederick Douglass "is an example of somebody who's done an amazing job that is being recognized more and more".
- Frederick Douglass died in 1895. (Trump didn’t have a clue who Frederick Douglass was (is?))
- President Trump does not have a clue what caused the Civil War — (hint) SLAVERY! He has a 5th graders view of the Civil War:
- “People don’t ask that question, but why was there a Civil War?” “Why could that one not have been worked out?” He tweeted “President Andrew Jackson, who died 16 years before the Civil War started, saw it coming and was angry. Would never have let it happen!” Historians disagree. It silly to think a slave owner would prevent our Civil War caused by SLAVERY!
- Mr Trump suggested injecting patients with disinfectants might help treat coronavirus.
- Mr Trump has also floated the idea of exposing patients to "ultraviolet or just very powerful light".:
- Trump showed his ignorance of basic geography by saying “It’s not like you’ve got China on your border,” said to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- President Donald Trump did not appear to understand the significance of the iconic Pearl Harbor memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii, during a private tour of the USS Arizona Memorial .
- Trump asked his then-chief of staff, John Kelly, "Hey, John, what's this all about? What's this a tour of?"
- "He was at times dangerously uninformed," a former senior White House official said
- President Trump’s decision last week to assassinate Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani:
- During a 2015 interview, then-candidate Trump did not even know who Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani was. After prompting, Trump mistakenly identified the Iranian general as a Kurdish commander. the frustrated candidate weakly attacked the interviewer for “throwing around names of people and where they live.”
- Trump cancels Denmark trip after PM says Greenland isn't for sale . Crazy talk! Again like a 5th grade boy.
- President Trump commented on Oct. 8, 2019 , “The Kurds are fighting for their land…and as someone wrote in a very, very powerful article today: They didn’t help us in the Second World War, they didn’t help us with Normandy, as an example, they mention different battles…but they’re there to help us with their land. And that’s a different thing.”
- What a stupid, ignorant statement! The article Trump referenced was an opinion piece on the right-wing Townhall website by conservative commentator Kurt Schlichter, in which the author wrote, “Let’s be honest — the Kurds didn’t show up for us at Normandy or Inchon or Khe Sanh or Kandahar.” It’s very likely Trump omitted the names because he did not recognize them.
- “Kurds were not capable of supporting the D-Day invasion because they do not have their own country (they are an ethnic group whose population is spread throughout Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria), Trump also chose to ignore the fact that two of our most reliable post-World War II allies have been Japan and Germany, two countries that were obviously not on our side at Normandy.”
- Trump ordered the 1st withdrawal of US Military forces from Syria. December 19th 2018 Trump announced the withdrawal.
- Withdrawal benefited Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey. Notice several of those countries are our adversaries — Syria and Iran. Should be an adversary — Russia. Turkey not so much our friend. The withdrawal hurt our ally — the Kurds because it allowed for Turkey to attack the Kurds in Northern Syria. STUPID!
- Defense Secretary James Mattis resigns as a result.
- October 6, 2019 Trump surprised everyone by withdrawing all forces from Northern Syria leaving our Allies the Kurds to be overrun by Turkey.
- On July 4th, Trump said from the Lincoln Memorial “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory,”
- Trump won’t stop saying the 1918 flu pandemic happened in 1917 . Trump mention least twenty-seven references to a 1917 flu pandemic since March 11th . Bizarre …
- Trump’s grandfather Friedrich Trump, died of the flu in the 1918 Pandemic.
- Trump said incorrectly the 1917 Flu probably ended WWI.
-
'So in 1917 we had a horrible flu, the Spanish flu. So much has been written about it...
'It killed between 50 to 100 million people and probably ended the First World War because all the soldiers were getting sick. It was the worst the world has ever seen, that we know of.'
- President Abraham Lincoln was a Republican?
- "If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value," Trump told his fellow Republicans April 2. "And they say the noise causes cancer." (hint) No and it’s Stupid.
- Steven Mnuchin insulted teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg by saying “to study economics” “she can come back and explain that to us.” Trump said climate scientists are “the heirs of yesterday’s foolish fortune tellers.” — Climate Change Denier.
Trump is Mentally Unstable
President Donald Trump's Mental State An 'Enormous Present Danger' | The Last Word | MSNBC
350 health professionals sign letter to Congress claiming Trump's mental health is deteriorating dangerously amid impeachment proceedings:
“… They outlined the facets of Trump's behavior that prompted them to speak out:
"What makes Donald Trump so dangerous is the brittleness of his sense of worth. Any slight or criticism is experienced as a humiliation and degradation. To cope with the resultant hollow and empty feeling, he reacts with what is referred to as narcissistic rage.
"He is unable to take responsibility for any error, mistake, or failing. His default in that situation is to blame others and to attack the perceived source of his humiliation. These attacks of narcissistic rage can be brutal and destructive."
"We implore Congress to take these danger signs seriously and to constrain his destructive impulses," they wrote. "We and many others are available to give important relevant recommendations as well as to educate the public so that we can maximize our collective safety."
"I believe that they fit the pattern of delusions rather than just plain lies," she said.
Even the New York Daily News — a Republican leaning paper said:
“The president is not well: The umpteenth reminders of Trump’s mental state and the consequences”
- Spread unfounded conspiracy theories about the origins of the coronavirus, about former President Barack Obama and about an MSNBC cable-news host;
- Made statements that can only be described as delusional, like comparing himself to Abraham Lincoln, inventing a non-existent letter of apology from Joe Biden, and spewing non-science about his favorite drug, hydroxychloroquine;
- Attacked two female reporters for doing their jobs, lamenting that they didn’t behave like “Donna Reed,” an actress synonymous with the gender role-abiding, kitchen-dwelling 1950s housewife she played on television more than 60 years ago;
- Attacked another female cable-news host, calling her a “3rd rate lapdog”;
- And in the middle of the night on Tuesday, at 12:45 a.m., gone on a 234-word rant on Twitter, complaining about an ad released by a Republican anti-Trump group whose leaders include George Conway, husband of his staffer Kellyanne, in which he used words like “deranged loser of a husband,” and “Moonface” to describe him. ...”
YES …… This is the Daily News …...
Bandy X. Lee is a forensic psychiatrist at the Yale School of Medicine has been warning Americans about Trump’s declining mental state since she and 37 Colleagues wrote ,”The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President” in 2017.
She used the 53 minute breathless outpouring of grievances on Fox & Friends interview:
“… He reverted to unsubstantiated or debunked conspiracy theories—as he often does under stress—
- of Barack Obama’s wire surveillance of him,
- a coup in the works from the beginning and
- the claim that Ukraine, not Russia, interfered in the 2016 election and had a secret DNC server. ...”

Crazy Talk!
Other psychiatrists have written about this event including JUSTIN A. FRANK who wrote “Trump on the Couch,” .
“The president’s cognitive functioning alone, in terms of his ability to process information and thoughts, has deteriorated to the point where
- he has difficulty stringing together a single coherent sentence.
- His word-finding difficulties, repetitions and loose connections are only superficial indicators of a more serious, deeper process.
- He has additionally shown multiple neurological signs, including:
Speaking of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD):
“… Narcissistic personality disorder involves a pattern of
- self-centered,
- arrogant thinking and behavior,
- a lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and
- an excessive need for admiration. ...”
Narcissism is Donald Trump.
The reason for writing this long post is to counter Republicans saying:
“… We Need to Talk about Joe Biden”
(I won’t waste any more time on a Republican talking point)
Again crazy talk!
Trump's mental state — not Biden's — is the real concern, mental health professionals say.
Let’s talk about policies and actions instead of Trump and Biden’s mental state.
