How would YOU like to have this beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilt for your very own? Even better, what if it had messages from voters and elected officials telling why they thought it was time to Ditch Mitch?
AND — what if you could ALSO help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell for Senate? Wouldn’t that be a great two-for-one?
Well, now you have a shot at that great opportunity, just by entering the Ditch Mitch Quilt contest!
This is the famous Ditch Mitch Quilt – a combination of efforts of Sara Reed, Laura Jansen, and Bruce Maples:
- Sara cut all the squares and shipped them to Bruce.
- Bruce took them around Kentucky, including to the capitol in Frankfort, and got people to write their own messages on the squares (with some help from a friend in the capitol!).
- Then Laura took those squares and created the quilt you see here.
How to enter to win the Ditch Mitch Quilt
We are going to have a drawing on Monday, October 19, from all the entries we have received up through midnight of October 18 (Eastern time). There are two ways you can enter:
You can only enter once a day, but you can enter on as many days as you want.
Do it now while you are looking at that beautiful quilt! And let’s do all we can to help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell!
