The Olympic Flight Museum was established in 1998 at the Olympia Regional Airport in Olympia, Washington. Shown below are two of the museum’s piston-engine airplanes.
Hollywood Zero
The museum describes this is a Mitsubishi A6M2 Reisen Zero-Sen Model 21 (Replica), it actually a North American Hurricane which was modified in 1968 to look like a Zero in making movies.
Aronca Champion
A variety of different planes are had the designation “Grasshopper.” These are single engine airplanes used for observation. The Aeronca Champion entered production in 1945 as a rival to the Piper Cub.
North American T-28 Trojan
Beginning in the 1950s, the T-28 Trojan was used as a trainer by the United States Navy and the United States Air Force.
