NJ-Gov: There are still some real questions about what has been counted and what is left here, but two things are clear: (1) this is way closer than any poll indicated, and (2) Democrats definitely have a suburb problem. Right now, GOP challenger Jack Ciattarelli has a 50-49 lead over incumbent Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy. Now, it appears that most of what remains is heavily D-leaning, and as such, Murphy may still pull this off. But Phil Murphy won Bergen County by 15 points in 2017 and looks, at this moment, likely to lose the county tonight. The same is true of Gloucester County. Big red flags (pardon the pun) out of the Garden State, unless there’s something wonky with the absentee/VBM voting that’s not represented in that tally.
