Happy Friday! Grocery day today. Bit is still at my mom’s so it’s Draco and I for groceries today. We’re taking a cab both ways because his knees won’t hold up to walking that far AND walking around the store.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

I mostly avoid discussing computer games, because I know many of you aren’t interested. But, I found a casual game some of you may like, and I know several of you play those.
This one is a match 3 type game, that’s set in a steampunk storyline, but you use the matches to battle out steam punk machines to win a war. It’s pretty fun! And it’s very relaxing.
It’s called Ironcast, and I’m going to include a youtube let’s play.
It looks pretty easy, and the game play is. But, you die a lot if you don’t get the right options to match up. I haven’t beaten the big boss of the first level yet. But then, neither has this youtuber, so I don’t feel too bad about that.
Steam has it for $14.99, and I got mine on Epic Games for free, though I think that sale may be done. Still, it will come up on sale again. Either on Steam or on Epic if you want to wait for that. Yes, it costs more than a game for your phone, but no ads or in game stuff to buy. You get more people and machines by gaining experience points through game play, and you can buy upgrades for the machines with ‘scrap’ you get by making matches, as rewards for winning levels, or from scrap when you beat other machines.
So for those of you who like casual games, especially match 3 type, this is a fun game with a little extra challenge to it, and an actual story line.
For those of you who don’t like casual games.. I haven’t forgotten you either. And those of you who do can still enjoy the next video.
Hope you have a great weekend! Bit will be home on Sunday! It’s been a LONG week.
