After qualifying for the November 2024 ballot, Sarah Henry, Democratic candidate for Florida House District 38, is proud to announce a series of endorsements and support for her campaign.
Representatives Kristen Arrington (House District 46), Hillary Cassel (House District 101), Tom Keen (House District 35), and Katherine Waldron (House District 93) join Florida House Democratic Campaign Committee Chair and House Democratic Minority Leader Fentrice Driskell in uniting behind Sarah Henry’s campaign for Florida House District 38.
“Sarah Henry is a breath of fresh air and the face of a new generation of leadership that is committed to making state government work for everyone in Florida,” said Leader Driskell. “She'll stand up to special interests that are making Florida too expensive for working families and fight back against extremists that would take away the right of women to have an abortion even after they are survivors of rape or incest, or if their lives are in danger. I'm proud to endorse her and support her campaign for District 38.”
The Florida AFL-CIO has also announced their support of the Henry campaign for the swing seat. The organization represents more than 500 local labor unions and over one million members, retirees, and their families across Florida.
“I’m so honored to have the support of leaders across Florida,” said Sarah Henry. Henry added, “The month of June is a reminder of my opponent’s skewed emphasis on culture wars over the priorities that truly matter to Floridians: protecting our LGBTQ+ neighbors from relentless attacks, putting gun violence prevention ahead of the desires of the gun lobby, and working to make our communities more resilient to climate change. Florida is unaffordable and growing more hostile as a direct result of this misprioritization. The residents of District 38 deserve a leader who cares about these issues and will work towards real solutions - not further political games.”
