Monday (Jun 17), Vice President Kamala Harris hosted an event at the White House, marking the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict. During her remarks, VP Harris announced the Biden-Harris administration’s Dignity in Documentation Initiative, to improve documentation of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). The event also featured a partial screening of the documentary film, “Screams Before Silence”, on Hamas’ sexual violence on October 7, 2023.
We must speak truth about the prevalence of conflict-related sexual violence against women and girls and men and boys. All of these crimes are too often ignored. The U.N. estimates that for each rape documented in connection with a conflict, thre are 10 to 20 cases that go undocumented.
Conflict-related sexual violence must be condemned, unequivocally, wherever and whenever it occurs. And we must fortify systems to prioritize action — systems that support survivors, effectively collect evidence, and promote investigation.
We must condemn, of course, this conduct. But there must be accountability. So, we have committed, as an administration, to move the system from only condemnation to consequences.
Full event. VP’s remarks are at the beginning of the event.

Wednesday (Jun 19), Juneteenth) Vice President Kamala Harris recorded 2 radio interviews and made a call to action to GOTV. So far, I have only found one of the radio interviews, an interview with Sherwin Hughes of The Truth, 101.7 FM, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This is a good interview. I recommend giving it a listen.
Thursday (Jun 20), VP Harris participated in a conversation with Chrissy Teigen to discuss the continued fight for reproductive freedoms ahead of the two-year anniversary of the Supreme Court overthrowing Roe v. Wade. In the evening, she held a fundraiser event in Washington, D.C.
It was a great conversation and I highly recommend watching it.
