In most of my Daily Kos diaries, my main message is in usually the title images I personally create. Sometimes the “text” portion of a Perlinator diary is just one sentence. I occasionally get complaints that my Daily Kos diaries are too short. If you want to read about this Supreme Court ruling in depth, you can read the Associated Press article here.
This SCOTUS ruling is yet another example of the right putting the interests of wealthy corporations ahead of the interests of We the People. It is often asked why so many people vote against their best interests. The answer is simple. Many Republican voters don’t care about or even understand the issues that affect us all. They’re very much like sports fans, and only care about “winning”. In various online forums, you can often find progressives posting well-reasoned criticisms of specific Republican Party policies; and Republicans responding to such criticisms with words to the effect of “My side won, your side lost! Get over it!”
Of course, voters on both sides of the aisle like to win. The difference is that progressives want to win because they want policies enacted that would make the country to be a better place; while regressives want to win because they want to win.
