Welcome to the New Day Cafe! This is an open thread.
The UK magazine Homes & Gardens had a recent piece on how to boost biodiversity, the best weapon against ticks, in your yard.
Here’s a link to an affirming study: www.caryinstitute.org/…
The suggestions:
-Growing native plants will encourage native predators of tick-ridden mice, such as frogs, foxes, and birds, to thrive.
-Create habitats for those predators.
Owl boxes are a great idea.
Have dense foliage and flowers.
