This is short.
Sorry.
I’m gobsmacked at the division in our party that wasn’t there a month ago. There is, quite simply, no circumstance where I find this infighting and spreading of vitriol among compatriots ideal.
What are we doing?
I cannot make the decision on whether it is to be Joe or not as our candidate. I don’t believe anyone who visits this website and discusses this issue can.
Joe can make that decision, perhaps his wife whispers in his ear or maybe he’s listening to Mrs. Pelosi or his own inner angels. But none of us here can.
I’ve found myself coming VERY close to arguing with the people here, family, actually, the way I would with Maga supporters and that is just something I do not wish to do.
So, I am stepping back.
I will support Joe until the moment he says not to any longer. Over and above that, I will vote for whomever is the democratic candidate on November fifth.
That is the entirety of it.
My words have been harsh- I will ascribe it to the fear we all feel at the very real possibility of Trump becoming a dictator if we get this wrong. But me arguing about it in public where our enemies can see and gain strength from our division, that I will no longer do.
If you have an opinion on Joe’s candidacy, speak it out but I will not read it.
I am stepping back from that fray and instead will do all I can to simply support whomever is our candidate at any given moment/cutting Trump to the quick every chance I see to do so.
My deepest apologies to anyone I may have insulted with my words- I have no excuse for it. I feel I did go overboard- I apologize, sincerely.
We cannot forget that we are on the same team.
In that spirit.
Good luck to OUR side and may the BEST SIDE (Ours) WIN!
