I shake my head whenever I read about red voters who don't seem to understand they're paying the price for their past votes. Case in point from TIME:

This town has a mostly “rural and Republican” population, people who have spent their lives voting for politicians who believe corporations should have no oversight or regulations, and now they’re suddenly suffering “strange, debilitating illnesses” because of a corporation that has no oversight or regulations.
