My challenge to those saying or hinting that Biden should be replaced (by Harris or by some other candidate) is to answer this question.
Where is the evidence that a replacement candidate will fare better?
I support Biden. But I'm open to your arguments. So let's hear them.
I don't need to know that Biden's polls are not pointing to a decisive victory. I accept the reality that more work is needed to get him across the finish line
What I'm asking for is to be sold on the argument that switching candidates this late in the game will do not more harm than good. Ie that it gets us the win.
I'm not asking for meaningless anecdotal evidence. Or your gut feeling.
Let's see some convincing evidence that will help you make your case. Stating, for example, that Harris 'could win" without offering a convincing and realistic strategy for how this would happen is not acceptable as an argument.
In the meantime, the window is closing on the chance of us all uniting to defeat Trump.
