Whether Biden steps down or not, at least now he’s campaigning like his life depends on it. Since the start of this campaign, Trump has been loud, reckless, and domineering, while Biden was sedate, professional, largely sticking to carefully orchestrated and scripted events. He was running for President like he’d be anointed against Trump, as if the American people are not capable of voting for the idiot they elected already in 2016. The Biden campaign came off as Madison Avenue, so to speak, and wasn’t exciting many people.
Now, that Biden’s health is being questioned by his own party, he is rising to the occasion. He’s being scrappy. He’s speaking forcefully, holding news interviews, conducting press conferences, and standing up to the Democrats who want him to step down. If the Biden campaign applies the same fierceness and energy to winning the Presidency, then questions about Joe’s mental health may vanish and he will secure a good victory.
I read recently that Trump believes good publicity is best, bad publicity is second best, and no publicity is worst. Well, now the Democrats are finally very visible and stealing the spotlight. It’s not all flattering, but it’s showing the American people that the Democratic Party really is democratic. It is not personality cult and it is not strictly top down. We all have a voice in the Democratic Party.
The campaign to get Biden to step down has lit a fire under the ass of our glorious donkey! It is actually generating excitement, regardless of what someone believes. People are paying attention. More of them are listening to Joe Biden and the Democrats. So, while the polls mostly show Biden lost support because of his debate performance, the same polls are still showing Trump under 50 percent. He hasn’t gained at all.
After a lackluster political season where so much of the excitement seemed to be on the Republican side, now it’s on our side. As long as we stay unified, this is the energy that will be tapped into to defeat MAGA and Project 25 in November.
