President Biden, in his NATO presser Thursday, hearkened back to Johnson and almost to FDR in comparing the accomplishments of his administration.
Got me to thinking -— can we work the problem of independents/undecided voters by agreeing together to a commitment of at least an hour a day For our Democratic Republic?
It’s just two items -— call it the FDR Pledge:
- spend at least one hour each day between now and November 5 working to persuade those persuadeable to VOTE BLUE ...
- connect with all people in your spheres of influence so each of them will 1) be persuaded and then 2) pledge to persuade those in their spheres ...
This is the only way — we’ve got to do the work no matter who is at the top of the ticket.
Get off of Kos and the Internet generally and get out there. Every day. This is about face to face conversations and talking with those around you. At work, in the gym, at the grocery store -— it’s all hands of deck until Election Day. Ads won’t cut it -— got to be face to face, person to person.
Will you take the FDR Pledge?
