I wonder what the character and personalities are of the people behind the scenes we don't know about much. (The same people who pushed Biden aside for Hilary in 2016 are) saying Biden should step aside, and they'll remove Kamala from the ticket too. I hypothesize.
Edit: sorry, I was only listening to a news story , and either got the year or the whole thing wrong. Getting car fixed. Those portions are in parenthesis and italics.
There is corruption in the Democratic Party, I don't idealize them, since Hilary told Bill to not give Leonard Peltier clemency according to Carter Camp when he fasted 4 days at the White House. "I'll never forgive her" I remember him saying (the comment from Native American Netroots in my diary from approximately 2007 is gone). Here is at least some circumstancial evidence.

Feb. 22, 2007 — -- The sharpest political snipes among the Democratic 2008 presidential hopefuls can be traced beyond media mogul David Geffen to a jailed man named Leonard Peltier.
And I still voted for her.
Peltier, convicted of murder in 1977 for allegedly gunning down a pair of FBI agents in a shootout at South Dakota's Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, was one of the primary reasons cited by Geffen for jumping ship from New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign in favor of fellow Democratic Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.
And here's another reason I don't just think there is corruption at the top, there is racism.
Fort Reno is a research station that contains a graveyard sacred to the Cheyenne-Arapaho, but is currently under federal control. Senator Don Nickles (R-Oklahoma) currently has language in a pending bill that continues funding for the research station which would prevent transfer of the land back to the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe.

Corruption.
The Cheyenne-Arapaho have been involved in many different controversies involving the transfer of Fort Reno including return of political contributions to the Democratic National Committee, and an appearance on a Bill Moyers PBS documentary that decried the current state of campaign fundraising.
Corruption and racism, and from past to present - follow the money.
Archie Hoffman: I guess he did check into the Fort Reno property and found out about all that gas and oil under Fort Reno. So he seen money there, about $50 million. He wanted us to sign a contract giving him 10 percent of that, and he’d get that property back for us. And he said, but if we didn’t do that, he said he’d make sure we never got that property back, you know?
Bill Moyers: “They want the land given back to them on a platter,” Landow told FRONTLINE when he refused an on-camera interview. “They brought in innocent people like me. They’re a bunch of goddamn uneducated Indians.”
Richard Grellner: He started out that, you know, “I didn’t have the ability to get this done for the tribe.” That evolved into, “If you don’t do this, I’ll make sure you don’t get it back.” So we were kind of in a position that, you know, of what became a stickler of a situation became a stick-up.
Richard Grellner: What used to be freedom of speech, you know, it may still be free, but the microphone is so expensive nobody can afford it. If you don’t-can’t buy access to the microphone, continued access, keep blurting out your message, then nobody’s going to listen. Nobody’s going to listen.
Bill Moyers: [on-camera] You’ve said Bill Clinton identifies with people who have the, quote, “short end of the stick.” And my question is how many of those people at the short end of the stick get invited to those White House coffees? And doesn’t that fundamentally change the character of the party and the priorities of the president?
To reiterate, this is racism from a Democrat.

Michael Copperthite, a Democratic political operative, called Landow to ask him to help the impoverished Cheyenne-Arapaho tribes of Oklahoma regain land seized by the federal government in 1869. Convinced by Democratic fund-raisers that a large contribution would grease the wheels of justice, the tribes had donated $107,000 to the Clinton-Gore campaign. That bought them a lunch with the president – and a few dozen other contributors – but no land. And the fund-raisers kept calling, soliciting more donations.
Landow, who had nothing to do with those solicitations, met with Copperthite and the tribes' representatives and steered them to the consulting firm of former Clinton-Gore campaign manager Peter Knight. At a meeting in February 1997, Knight's firm agreed to represent the tribes for a $100,000 retainer, plus $10,000 a month. Landow demanded that the tribes sign a development contract with him – a deal that would give him 10 percent of all income produced by the recovered land for 20 years, including gas and oil revenues. When the tribes' lawyer, Rick Grellner, said he wasn't authorized to agree to the deal, Landow started screaming.
"It became an all-out verbal assault," Grellner recalls. "Every other word was a four-letter word."
"Landow said, 'If you don't do this deal, I'm gonna [expletive] you and you're not gonna get your land back,'" recalls Copperthite.
So, I hypothesize about the character of the people behind the scenes, who don't want Biden to run or Kamala to be on the ticket at all. I think that they are a bunch of greedy, narcissistic, and racist motherfuckers.
