"I know nothing about Project 2025," Donald Trump said in a Truth Social. "I have no idea who is behind it.”
[2:26] Abby Phillips, CNN: Now, the man in charge of the Heritage Foundation is also someone that Trump is quite familiar with.
[2:34] Former president Trump: I want to thank Kevin. He's going to be so incredible. Heritage Foundation president, somebody else doing an unbelievable job. He's bringing it back to levels it's never seen. Doctor Kevin Roberts.

Trump doubled down in a social media post Thursday morning, saying, "I have not seen it, have no idea who is in charge of it, and, unlike our very well received Republican Platform, had nothing to do with it." [ www.nbcnews.com — July 11, 2024 ]
[2:46] Abby Phillips, CNN: And here's how the Heritage Foundation's president described the project as he literally shared the same stage as Donald Trump.
[2:56] Kevin Roberts, Heritage Foundation CEO: Our project 2025 has developed a comprehensive policy agenda, but even more importantly, recruiting people 20,000 people to go into the next administration, hopefully to help take back this country for you, and your audience.
We want no credit. We want the American people, [...] President Trump and his administration to take credit for that.
"I know nothing about Project 2025," Donald Trump said in a Truth Social.
[1:46] Abby Phillips, CNN: So just how influential was heritage in the Trump administration? Well, just listen to Trump's own former vice president.
[1:56] Former vice president Pence: Heritage Foundation has been fighting side by side with this president and this administration since day one, and we have a stronger America as a result.
From right in the transition, we went to work availing ourselves of the resources available from the Heritage Foundation.
We laid out plans for this administration. We drew on the scholarship and the resources of this historic think tank.
Project 2025? Heritage Foundation? Doctor Kevin Roberts? Who’s that? “I know nothing, I have not seen it, I have no idea who is in charge of it,” Donald Trump said.
[3:21] Abby Phillips, CNN: The man overseeing the project itself signals that he will be there to implement it inside of a future Trump West Wing.
[3:30] Paul Dans, Director Project 2025: My name is Paul Dans, and it's my privilege to be with you tonight. I'm from the Heritage Foundation. My former boss, President Donald J. Trump, the 45th president of the United States.
So I'm going to take this opportunity to say, hey, Kevin, it's been great working with you, but, I kind of want to go back to work for my old boss. So, I'm going to give you an official ten month notice today [...]
[4:02] Abby Phillips, CNN: Another person involved is one of Trump's closest aides, and he's even clearer about the project purpose.
[4:09] John McEntee, Senior Advisor Project 2025: I work for the Heritage Foundation on their Project 2025, which is in charge of staffing the next administration should Trump win.
[4:19] Abby Phillips, CNN: And he's hardly the only loyalist who's involved in this project. So are more than 30 former administration and campaign officials, including Stephen Miller, Ken Cuccinelli, Stephen Moore, Peter Navarro and Ben Carson. All who Trump would have a hard time convincing us, he doesn't actually know.
Trump loyalists that Donald Trump now “doesn’t know” … says him.
Peter Navarro, fresh out of prison for his Contempt Conviction — and rarin’ to go. (Or perhaps that should be raving to go, on his 2nd tour of ‘Revolutionary’ duty.)

CNN — Jul 11, 2024 [The clips cited above, are from this excellent fact-checking report.]
Donald Trump has lately made clear he wants little to do with Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for the next Republican president that has attracted considerable blowback in his race for the White House. At least 140 people who worked in the Trump administration had a hand in Project 2025, a CNN review found, including more than half of the people listed as authors, editors and contributors to “Mandate for Leadership,” the project’s extensive manifesto for overhauling the executive branch.

As the split personality acceptance address last night, by the “know nothing” Trump shows — despite the kinder, gentler, simpler intro performance — behind it all is the same hateful lunatic felon, as he got down to brass-tacks:
Trump References Hannibal Lecter In RNC Speech — Newsweek, July 18, 2024
During his Nomination speech at the RNC, Donald Trump once again mentioned Hannibal Lecter while discussing migrants at the border, saying,
"Has anyone seen Silence of the Lambs? The late great Hannibal Lecter — we'd love to have you for dinner."
Changed man? In cynical, messaging tactics only …
“I know nothing; I have not seen it; I have no idea who is in charge of it,” claims yet-to-be 'Changed man'
