Another rich white guy who can't read the room wants to shit-can election results based upon the rules all agreed upon beforehand that the victor must win 1,968 delegates and President Biden is the one and only candidate seeking the Democratic Party nomination who met that criteria, winning 3,896 delegates.
The BOLD PAC of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the Congressional Black Caucus have stated clearly that they remain committed to President Biden as the nominee for president of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party Minority Leader of the Democratic Party Hakeem Jeffries remains committed to President Biden as the nominee for president. Representative Ilhan Omar has said that he's been the best president of her lifetime . Representative Ayanna Pressley says President Biden is the nominee. Senator Bernie Sanders says 'stop the bickering' and back Biden and that Senator hails ‘most effective president in modern history’ and says Biden is strongest bet to beat ‘demagogue’ Trump. Governor Wes Moore backs President Biden .
.
.
Much of the Congressional Progressive Caucus has rallied to Biden’s defense amid calls to step aside, including Omar herself.
“Outside a few outliers I think everybody’s supporting the president,” the congresswoman said last week. “He’s been the best president of my lifetime, and we have his back.”

Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., said her focus is on helping re-elect Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to stop Trump from winning and implementing the right-wing Project 2025 agenda.
“President Biden is the nominee,” Pressley said.

Moore issued a statement after the meeting to reaffirm his support for Biden:
"President Biden is the partner I need in the White House, now and for the next four years. We could not have delivered such enormous progress for Marylanders without his and Vice President (Kamala) Harris' leadership and support. Together, we've created 40,000 jobs, made historic investments in education, brought broadband across the state, and seen the most significant drop in crime in a generation. Our state is back ton track with the help of President Biden.
"When I was in the Army, I learned that it's easy to stand by people when things are going well, but you learn about the mettle of a person when times are hard. I know Joe Biden's resolve because I saw it first-hand when he stood by the people of Maryland every step of the way as we reopened the Port of Baltimore faster than anyone thought possible following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
And
"The contrast between candidates could not be more clear in this election. President Biden believes in Maryland's promise. Donald Trump thinks Baltimore, my state's largest city, is 'a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.' Those are the stakes. I know President Biden has Maryland's back, so I've got his."

I am not going to accept election denialism whether it comes from Republicans or if it comes from Democrats. Incumbents often run in primaries. They're almost always the prohibitive favorite, but that doesn't make the elections less legitimate or fraudulent. Some people may or may not have discouraged running against the president, but either way that would not invalidate the democratic nature of the election. I was told that trying to force the guy who won 87% of the Democratic Party primary vote out is "politics". If that idea would apply anywhere, it would apply here. Other people could still have run. Those not in favor of other candidates may have feared an aggressive scorched Earth campaign which would be the only way to win, but would still likely leave the candidate short of the needed support.
.
.
Even a president who is relatively unpopular with their political party would have 75% job approval as President Biden does. There were multiple polls with a variation of the question, "If President Biden does not run for reelection, who would you choose to be the nominee?" Until recently, Vice President Harris' Best result was 53% support. She performed better than any other potential candidate. Her next best result was 33%. In one poll, she had 27% support and nobody else was even in double digits. Vice President Harris would not run against President Biden because of loyalty and the likelihood that whoever emerged out of that would likely leave the party so divided that they could not win. It's possible that would not have happened, but the potential for a long lasting split and division would have to have discouraged her from running.
.
.
Polling made it clear that 90% of Democratic Party primary voters don't know these political fantasy football candidates. So, they would start with 10% support and President Biden would begin with 75%. How could you win that? Only, again, by an aggressive scorched Earth campaign. Even if you won, they could leave you unelectable because the party faithful would likely respond unfavorably to such a campaign. And the odds are overwhelmingly against you. So, these potential candidates knew that they could not win. Elections don't become anti-democratic because people who can't win don't run.

I had heard this (below) from African American women, but I asked Miss Denise to make sure
.
.
I am listening. And what I am hearing from African American women is the following (and please tell me if I am wrong). African American women are realists and practical and great analysts and their lived experience makes them believe because of racism and sexism and misogyny, it is likely much more difficult, especially at this late date, for her to win as the Democratic Party nominee for president. However, President Biden has a good chance at winning as a moderate white man. He is likely to resign his office maybe two years in, in 2026, at the age of 84 years of age. Then Vice President Harris becomes President Harris and she, then, runs for re-election as the incumbent president and she has a much better chance of winning the electoral college vote and, thus, the presidential election in 2028. The big money donors and the other potential candidates in 2028 know that they would not be able to defeat them President Harris in the 2028 Democratic Party primary. So, they are trying to push President Biden off the ticket. Yet none of them said that they would support Vice President Harris as the nominee for president. Do I have that right? I watch The Belle Kurve!
.
.
The campaign to force President Biden out is mostly from powerful white people who either have money or a high office. The media has run a wildly successful four year campaign against President Biden that he's too old, makes too many gaffes, and a whisper campaign that he was in serious cognitive decline emerged. President Biden wasn't very visible because of the pandemic, his stutter, and the hostility of the media. So, the public never saw a refutation of the media's narrative. Their view of the debate came from swallowing the media's narrative. The question, "Is President Biden too old to serve another term?" is biased, but it's biggest defects are that it leans into a counter-factual world and it isn't the same thing as the question, 'Will you vote for President Biden or Donald Trump?' Even after three weeks of almost non-stop assaults from fellow democrats, the media especially pundits, and the big money people, and President Biden still is an even bet to win the electoral college vote . Furthermore, what would we make if the public were asked a difficult scientific question and we got a huge majority that supported something that was actually false, would that change what scientists should do ? Of course not! The public doesn't understand the Democratic Party primary.

Read this crazy shit !
.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) joined the growing list of Democrats calling on President Biden to withdraw from the 2024 race Friday, suggesting in an interview that former President’s Obama and Clinton should help vet new candidates for a “mini primary.” Maybe a vetting hosted by former presidents including Obama and Clinton would be helpful and help focus the attention,” she added later. “And whoever emerges, including Kamala Harris, would be a stronger candidate than if we tried to exclude a transparent public process.” Lofgren, a close ally of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), said she doesn’t think Harris should immediately be named as the nominee, should Biden leave the race. I don’t think we can do a coronation,” she said.

There are two competing hypotheses to explain the debate, but here's one that I hold to:
