The Supreme Court helped start the first American Civil War and now they are setting the stage for even a worse nightmare. We will need a Constitutional Amendment to undue the damage they have done in (Tyrant) Trump v United States.
Some members of the conservative Supreme Court are true sociopaths. They do not care whom they hurt as long as they get their way. Might makes right! Period! End of story!
But other members of the conservative court are not evil. They, like Chief Justice Roberts, believe their own bullshit. They genuinely think they are being reasonable. They’re so “smart” they’re stupid because they lack any common sense. They can’t — or won't — see the logical outcomes of their ridiculous and incongruent arguments. They just make up shit as they go along and justify it with eloquent word sculptures.
If a MAGA lunatic in the White House someday orders as an “Official Act” the arrest of the current Democrat Governors and/or Democrats elected to Federal Office for whatever bullshit reason — what do you think will happen? Do you think millions of Democratic Americans are just gonna sit there and do nothing? I guarantee you that won't happen!
I’ve had a lifelong interest in history and current events. I instinctively want to be prepared. I know how batshit crazy and cruel societies and individuals can get. How sociopathic they can become. Unfortunately, I’m a walking encyclopedia on the subject.
So here’s some words of wisdom I've learned over the past 50+ years that I would like to share with you.
1. I can't emphasize this enough: The side with the highest morale usually wins. So for God’s sake, don't bash or undermine your allies in any way. Your allies differences are microscopic compared to those who are sociopathic and could care less whom they harm in their quest for getting what they want.
2. Respectful debate is a constructive outlet to deal with your allies differences of opinion. One shouldn't surrender their beliefs, but at the same time a little humility will go a long way to turning down the temperature. Because in any complex situation no one has all the answers. To some degree we all learn as we go!
3. Be prepared to be out outmaneuvered by your opponent. Misdirection is one common way to win a war. Have backup plans to counteract deception. We all need to be able to outsmart the enemy.
4. Last, but not least, use your imagination. Try imagining yourself in your enemy’s shoes. I know doing this might be exhausting and very unpleasant for some people, but it’s a good exercise in trying to think a few steps ahead, like a good chess player will always do!
