Being positive is great, but the discussion of post-debate polls here has been fanciful and full of cherrypicking.
Yes, individual pollsters can say “no statistical significance” when they put out their new polls. There’s even one (out of dozens) of polls that still shows Biden ahead. But when poll after poll after poll comes out showing Trump ahead (and moreso, more ahead then he was in previous polls) *THAT* has statistical significance because the conglomeration of polls notably decreases the margin of error.
BIDEN IS DOWN 2.1 POINTS since the debate in the poll of polls. They’re a sea of red.

If you want to argue he can turn it around, sure, it’s fair that you have that opinion. But please, please, please stop misrepresenting the polls. They clearly show that Biden took a potentially fatal hit to his candidacy.
And please, please, please stop gaslighting people who say that Biden should withdraw. They get to have their opinion too. If they think that Biden’s candidacy is dead in the water and that he’s leading the entire country off the cliff, don’t tell them they’re wrong-thinking, don’t insinuate they don’t love the country, don’t say their panicking or wetting the bed. Tell them you have a difference of opinion and argue your case, but don’t denigrate the other side.
Personally, I think that Biden’s candidacy *IS* dead after being very weak previously. Maybe it’s fair, maybe not, but that’s not what matters. As evidence I look back to the last time that the Democratic party offered a deeply flawed candidate. That was Hilary Clinton. I think she would have been a hyper-competent president, but after decades of demonization from the Republicans, she was borderline unelectable. James Comey put her over that edge. She should never have been pushed to a nomination by the Democratic elites. She should never have accepted the nomination. IMO the same is true for Biden at this point, because perception is reality in an election.
