So Biden showed up in fine fettle,
so of course the destructive contingent has doubled and tripled down,
including the OOSSP, the Oligarch-Owned Sociopath-Suckup Press [slight modification from the term I used previously] — which really is a better acronym for them than MSM. They’re only mainstream if the stream is fascist.
To counter the continuous pushing from the Biden is Demented, Please Destroy Him For The Murderous Sociopath And His Criminal Enablers, So We Can Sneer At Your Foolishness As We Load You Into The Boxcars contingent,
including but not limited to
- the constant touting of unrealistic alternative candidates who have already stated their disinterest and thrown their support to Biden,
- and the tag-teaming and sea-lioning of people who refuse to be manipulated,
- tag-teaming is, of course, being ganged up on
- sea-lioning is basically when someone hassles you relentlessly with “questions”, staying civil-ish in their words but being invasive, intrusive, and harassing in their actions — it’s stalking, and should be prohibited here, oh well. And most of the time their “civility” is insulting and condescending, but we miss seeing how bad it is because they’re being “polite”.
I am offering
- an informal Beau of the Fifth Column Film Festival,
- and an excellent paper on what causes seemingly regular people to troll others,
- and a handy visual metaphor for what we need to avoid.
In reverse order:
- the visual metaphor is my lede pic. It was aready in the Image Library. I added a number of tags to it, including #matches and #firestarter; the database hasn’t picked them up yet, but searching on ALL: matches will bring it up [along with all kinds of bizarrerie, God knows why] until the tags get saved.
And the explanation for said metaphor is right under said lede pic.
- Here’s the paper. It’s a PDF. Save it. Read it when you are yet again puzzled as to Why They Do That. Here, and pretty much everywhere else. Basically, They Do It Because They Like Breaking Things. But there’s more to it than that. Well worth the time to read it.
www.researchgate.net/…
- And here is the Film Festival. It’s kind of interesting how much Beau and his regular viewers seem to be seeing and finding out that hasn’t made its way into diaries here. I strongly suggest people check his channel daily, at least while things are so incendiary.
Beau on Polling and Margins of Error
and Beau on Biden’s meeting with twenty democratic governors.
What, you never heard about that? Well, they ended up supporting him — with nuance; perhaps that’s why. And Beau explains the nuances.
Beau on the Biden interview [both before and after the fact.]
before
and after…. watch this one all the way through, because the money quote comes at 6:10 and following. But you want to watch all of it, because the context is really valuable.
Res ipsa loquitur; it [and he] speaks for itself [and himself].
And me? I rest my case.
I’m outta here for the rest of the day. Feel free to contemplate that lighted match, and think about how lucky we are that we can move AWAY from the fire, and even take action to put it out.
The Sea-Lion diary will be the very next one I post. Watch for it Monday.
Oh, and have a musical interlude from one Spike Jones.
