President Biden is competent, intelligent, and absolutely ready to be President of the United States for four more years. He has wisdom, compassion, and years of experience - and a proven track record.
Yesterday, I attended a campaign rally for President Biden in Madison, Wisconsin.
Biden spoke intelligently and thoughtfully, without any stumbles. He was in fighting form, ready to take on any detractors who question his fitness for office. He talked about his proven track record in creating jobs and in bringing more jobs to Wisconsin in the last three years. He spoke about his commitment to workers and to the environment. He spoke about signing the Respect for Marriage Act. He reaffirmed his commitment to a woman's right to have control over her body, and he spoke of his determination to protect a woman's right to contraception, to abortion, and to necessary and lifesaving healthcare. He talked of the need to protect children from gun violence. It was a great campaign speech and showed clearly the differences between four more years of a President who cares about the people of the United States and a convicted felon who has no loyalty to the United States.
You can find a good video of the speech and an accompanying transcript at

I was extremely impressed by Biden's speech and by the competence of the Biden-Harris campaign and the Wisconsin Democrats in organizing the event.

The campaign rally was held at a middle school on the Northeast side of Madison. The number of people attending was limited to about 300 - I didn't think to do a number guesstimate while I was waiting in line for the event. I think that there were about 200 people in the main auditorium area - I ended up in the overflow area where large TV screens were set up so we could watch the speech. The Wisconsin Democratic Campaign organization (WISDEMS) sent out invitations to local Biden supporters and then those of us who RSVPed were sent further instructions.
Accessibility Details
We were not allowed to bring bottled water into the school, because of Secret Security screening (which seemed similar to TSA screening or concert rules). However, the Biden-Harris campaign provided water for those of us standing in line to get in, and then later for those of us in the overflow room listening to Biden's speech. I was really appreciative of the water, because I had some pain medication with me and I don't know if can take any needed medications without water. (My pain medication was ibuprofen. I also had fexofenadine for allergies, and a cough suppressant in case I started to cough while President Biden was speaking. I have mastered small purse essentials organization. ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ )
I didn't ask for accessibility accomodations ahead of time because I have been having a few good days, but I did take pain medication ahead of time and Provigil, which is an anti-fatigue medication which helps counteract the effects of my chronic fatigue. The campaign did have contact information for anybody who needed disability accommodation.
Final Thoughts
I was really excited to be at smaller invite only campaign event for President Biden. I have attended rallies for Democratic Candidates in the past, but I have usually been in a huge crowd of people at rallies on university campuses (The University of Madison-Wisconsin only has summer session classes at the moment, so it would not have made sense to have had a huge rally on campus during summer vacation).
