Not much to say this evening... so much badness going on. Please have good thoughts, though, for all the people affected by the tornados. Seems as though we can't catch a break in this neck of the woods.
A note from Phil S 33 and Lorinda Pike...
GW's--- a challenge: In an effort to aid our friends through-out the South; how about a donation challenge that we all buy into. Honor system: what you pledge, we hope you will follow thru.
How about a $1, or two, or your choice---for every 10 comments in this diary, each of us ponies up their alloted pledge to give to either Red Cross; or an agency of your choice in those states???
I will start by offering $2 for every 10 comments in the Block Party diary....
so if there are 158 comments----I owe $30.
Set your own limits----and let's make the comments legitimate----not ginning the entries.
Let's help the families in our little small way, because a mile-wide tornado doesn't care how you vote.....
Thank you.

However, when I feel less than comfortable with what's going on around me, I sometimes retreat to music. Slow stuff would make it worse, so then...I'll feel the need to just rock out.
Oh well, it's only rock 'n roll, but I like it...
and we can dream of some Easy Living...
taking a Free Ride...
get funky with the James Gang...
keep that Mississippi moon shining on me...
and carry on...
but it doesn't have to be rock 'n roll, although Beethoven was a rockstar in his day...
as was Vivaldi... through all four seasons, but Winter is my favorite...
and last... my favorite guitarist...yes, he is strange...but so am I.
