Vote for Edward Snowden as Time Magazine's person of the year:
If he the vote the editors still make the choice, but it's a small way to give him the recognition he deserves

We have Senators bravely offering new laws, but only after Snowden let the cat out of the bag. I guess the senators were afraid to do the right thing until Snowden took the risk. They knew about the phone records collection before Snowden revealed them, but they said nothing except cryptic unintelligible hints that told no one anything. As it is now, the Congress slugs along like a sedated boa constrictor, The final bills will probably amount to next to nothing as far as real restrictions or oversight of the NSA is concerned. To many Saluters in the Congress. Wave the flag and screw the people.
Or you can vote for Miley Cyrus, Netenyahu, or baby Prince George.
We need to advocate for the privacy of all citizens of the world and not just for US citizens. Why should the NSA spy on innocent civilians in other countries with impunity?
