Until the moment Bowe Bergdahl was rescued, he was a cause to bash Obama for abandoning him to his plight in Taliban captivity.
The moment he was no longer a POW, he became a reason to attack Obama for rescuing him. Even John McCain, a former POW who won his freedom after a prisoner exchange, was all for the prisoner exchange until the moment it happened ...and he had something new to say in order to get booked yet again on the Sunday morning news shows.
Yet this is how the Fox News crowd rolls: People are unimportant, except as means to hurt enemies. And Bergdahl is useful either way as a weapon against the President.
This is why I do not take many Republicans' comments on policy, domestic or foreign, seriously. The moment the issues shift (as they just did with this now ex POW) the attack shifts. So, if I see screaming about treason, whatever. Calls for impeachment, yawn. Threats about 'Second Amendment remedies' - bring it, if you have the stones. When there's zero credibility, there's zero incentive not to step forward and shove a blowhard's shoulder. What are they going to do about?
But I digress.
Seriously, if you hate Obama just ... own it. Just say "I hate fishsticks! I hate Brussels sprouts! I Hate Obama!" It's more intelligent and honest and you don't have to change your spots to keep saying it.
Personally I tolerate fishsticks and love sprouts but that's probably why this particular slogan wouldn't work on me as well as for others. :)
One more time:
Fishsticks! Sprouts! Obama! Hulk smash!
You'll never have to check FoxNews again. :)
